For decades, Phoenix Contact has been well known for its power reliability products for applications that require power conversion, distribution, protection, or uninterrupted power. One of the most well-known power supply families for power-conversion applications is Phoenix Contact’s “Quint” line, which includes their highest performance features like extra current output (power boost) and selective fuse breaking technology (SFB).
Phoenix Contact has recently expanded their Quint Power product family to include low-wattage, AC/DC power supplies with output ranging from 30W-100W. These new, low-wattage power supplies deliver ultra-high reliability features and capabilities from the existing Quint family. Starting at just 30W, these power supplies are designed for critical applications that may have space limitations. The compact housing and premier features of the new Quint Power additions provide innovative opportunities for analytical and strategic applications. Additionally, all the new low-wattage Quint Power supplies are NEC Class 2 approved.
Key Features
- Preventative function monitoring with an adjustable signal output enables LED and remote digital monitoring to detect critical operating states before faults occur
- Dynamic power boost of up to 200 percent of the nominal current for up to five seconds offers the option to reliably start inductive loads without disrupting the output voltage
- Permanent static power boost of up to 125 percent of the nominal current gives users the option to easily extend the system without switching to a larger power supply (1.3 A and 2.5 A options only)
- High efficiency allowing for energy savings, lower self-heating, and increased service life of the power supply
