The DBETA series complements the present comprehensive offering of electrohydraulic pressure control products from Bosch Rexroth. The DBETA is a direct-operated, proportional hydraulic pressure relief valve with onboard electronics (OBE).
The valve can be configured with a maximum relief/output pressure setting of 7250 psi (500 bar). Other maximum pressure configurations available include 725 psi (50 bar), 1450 psi (100 bar), 2900 psi (200 bar), and 5075psi (350 bar). A maximum flow rate of 1.32 GPM (5 lpm) is achievable subject to valve settings and operating conditions.
The DBETA is designed to provide precise, regulated, closed-loop hydraulic pressure control by varying the valve relief pressure in response to an electrical (voltage/amperage) command signal and an embedded pressure sensor/ transducer. Hysteresis measurements of < 1% and +/- 1% linearity values of the maximum pressure setting contribute to the superior performance capabilities of the DBETA series.
Similar to its predecessor, the DBETE series, the DBETA proportional pressure relief valves can be configured to operate open-loop, which doesn’t require the use of a pressure sensor/transducer. A dip switch panel which is part of the integrated electronics package is used to select the pressure control mode, as well as other possible modes of operation.
